When her previous release ‘Main Aur Mrs Khanna’ dropped her down with disappointments, the red-hot belle is sure about striking gold with her ‘Kurbaan’. More specifically, the actress has seemingly become more admirable towards debutant Rensil D’ Silva. After making his wonderful attempt over penning script for ‘Rang De Basanthi’, Rensil spent couple of years on his writing table and finally spelled out an overmastering romantic thriller ‘Kurbaan’.

Naturally, Karan Johar had felt the thrills and emotions he churned on the papers that urged him to produce the film. Now, with just 9 days to go for the film’s release, Kareena affords to spend quality time over promoting the film across nook and corners of globe.

And then about Rensil, Kareena cannot stop singing praises of him as she says, “He’s such an intellectual person who can discuss any topics under the sun. Of course, our wavelength matches a lot and he’s become my sweet close friend.”

Featuring Vivek Oberoi, Om Puri, Kirron Kher and Dia Mirza in prominent roles, Salim-Sulaiman have scored music and the film will have universal release on 20th November.
